Gary Kawaguchi
Gary is a co-founder of
CustomerDNA and brings
with him 24 years of
broad based client
experience. He was most
recently Senior Vice
President of Sales,
Marketing, Programming
and Customer Care at
Look Communications Inc.
where he led the
organization from
start-up as a wireless
cable TV and data
business to the largest
independent ISP in
Canada. Prior to that
Gary has held senior
management positions
with Pepsi-Cola Canada,
Canadian Tire, Canada
Trust, and Dundee
Bancorp gaining
experience in packaged
goods, retail, financial
services, and wealth
management. An early
career starting in
Finance quickly shifted
to Franchise Management,
Marketing, Sales,
Strategic Planning and
Operations for the
majority of his career
Scott Waddell
Scott is a co-founder of
CustomerDNA. In 1997,
Scott originally built
the company with the
vision to empower ISP
customer profitability
through the provision of
value added services. In
the process, Scott
developed on of the
largest consumer news
and content syndication
services over the
Internet. Over the past
six years, he has
pioneered several
technical innovations in
media syndication and
focused on helping
companies increase
customer profitability
through their
communication and portal
strategies. Scott has
been featured as an
industry expert on ROBTV,
and has spoken at
several industry
conferences including
ISPCON.
Geoff Norton
Geoff is the Director of
Technology for
CustomerDNA. He has been
with the company for
three years and has been
responsible for building
and maintaining our
content aggregation and
distribution network. He
has managed the
development of many of
the integral
technologies and
products within
CustomerDNA . Geoff
comes from a background
in network security and
infrastructure and is
also a contributor to
selected open source
projects. Geoff is
responsible for the day
to day maintenance of
all CustomerDNA
technologies & networks,
as well as the creation
and implementation of
new products and IT
related purchasing.
Michel Leroux
Michel leads the Direct
Marketing practice for
CustomerDNA. Michel's
background includes
founding Apex
Communication Marketing
in 1992. He has
extensive experience in
marketing with companies
like McCain Foods, Joff,
and Griffith Labs.
Michel pioneered
customer loyalty
programs well before the
arrival of rewards
clubs, and he led the
creation of the first
initiative in the ski
industry with "Ski
Club." Michel has led
his direct marketing
agency to be ranked the
3rd largest in Quebec in
the Direct
Marketing/Promotion
category. With his team,
Michel has won 13 awards
of excellence in Direct
Marketing since 1995.
Mark Ryhorski
Mark is a leading
practitioner in the
areas of Marketing
Innovation and
Customer-centric
Business Models. Most
recently the Global
Manager for Consumer
Relationship Marketing
for Ford Motor Company
and Vice President,
Marketing and Customer
Experience of Kia Motors
Canada, he has returned
to the professional
services industry to
work with clients on
elevating business
performance through more
customer-centric
business models. At
McKinsey and Company,
based in Milan and
Toronto, Mark worked
with clients tackling
challenging business
issues ranging from
growth strategies in the
petroleum sector, to
strategic alternatives
for European telecoms
facing deregulation.
With the founding of The
Stratus Group of London,
UK in 1997, Mark
developed a successful
practice in the then
nascent fields of
eBusiness and Customer
Relationship Management
(CRM). Working
extensively with Ford
Motor Company and its
various global
subsidiaries, Mark
developed many of Ford’s
“Consumer Company”
strategies designed to
transform the
manufacturer into a more
consumer-focused
company. Mark was
ultimately appointed as
global lead on CRM
implementation by Ford’s
CEO.
Kim Robinson
Kim Robinson has been a
director of CustomerDNA
since 1999 and is
currently a principle in
a loyalty program called
Invictaclub.com. He is
the former President of
Book4Golf.com, the
largest golf tee-time
company as well as the
former CFO of ClubLink,
the largest Canadian
golf course owner. Prior
to that Kim served in a
senior management
capacity with Molson's
and its diversified
business units.
Robert J Metcalfe
Robert has been a
director of CustomerDNA
since 2000 and is
currently the Executive
Vice President and
General Counsel for
Spotnik Mobile, a WiFi
leader backed by Telus.
He was recently with
Azonic Networks Inc. as
Vice President and
General Counsel,
responsible for
developing the real
estate organization in
Canada and the US, and
was a senior partner
with Lang Michener for
over 20 years. Robert
serves and has served on
the Board of Directors
of many private and
public companies,
including Canada Lands,
The CN Tower, and
Radiant Energy
